Barry Jones, co-founder and Principal, specialises in taking part-time/interim CFO roles in fast growing private companies, partnering with entrepreneurs to translate their vision into reality. His clients come from a broad range of industries including cement, wine, financial services, healthcare and clean technology. Prior to founding Maroon in 2007, Barry spent 13 years working in public accounting and investment banking. Having trained as a Chartered Accountant, he worked with KPMG and Credit Suisse in London, New York and Hong Kong.
Barry is active in the venture capital community. He represented Angels Den at the start of their launch into Asia, by screening deals and coaching entrepreneurs to pitch. He is a regular speaker on entrepreneurship and capital raising in the entrepreneurial circles of Hong Kong and Singapore.

Ethan Dengate, Consultant, has over 10 years experience in Asian business development. Ramanan Govindasam has 18 years of experience within the finance industry, primarily in Sri Lanka, and over this time has built a strong network with both prominent commercial leader and policy makers within ministries and regulatory authorities.
Ramanan started his carrier in business consultancy with Ernst & Young and cut his teeth in the first wave of privatisations taking place in Sri Lanka. As a fund manager at Sri Lanka's largest insurance company he was able to consistently generate the highest return on investments within the firm. He later became Head of Investment Banking at the leading private sector commercial bank in Sri Lanka where he oversaw the restructuring and eventual spin-off of the investment banking units. This enterprise became the leading fully-integrated investment bank in Sri Lanka. As an investment banker Ramanan also developed a track record of identifying under-performing quoted companies and initiating changes by bringing in strategic investors to unlock value.

Paul Norris, Affiliate Consultant, brings to Maroon the experience and insight that comes from being at the forefront of many market leading and innovative transactions.
Paul boasts an impressive project finance career in infrastructure, power and natural resources as a banker, engineer and geologist. During this time Paul has developed a wealth of financial experience from senior roles including lender, advisor and sponsor.
Commencing his career in oil & gas exploration in the North Sea, Paul then worked as an engineer in South East Asia before forging a banking career in infrastructure financing in Europe with Bank of Ireland, EDF Energy, as Director of Infrastructure Capital at ABN Amro Bank in London and Director of Global Banking at VTB Capital plc in Singapore.
When at VTB Capital plc Paul spent a lot of time looking at the supply of natural resources from Russia / CIS to key Asia trading companies and national entities. Kathleen Fitzgerald has over 15 years experience in economics, accounting, statistics, financial modelling, corporate finance and investments. Byron Haigh, Principal, is an entrepreneur in internet and mobile entertainment with 15 years experience working as sales manager in several internet startups, including Iconmedialab, Aspiro and Airborne Entertainment.
